The Legalization Center provides an apostille for almost all types of documents issued in Canada. Since 2024, Canada no longer requires superlegalization but an apostille.
The apostille is mostly issued on the original document, which is why a subsequent official translation is often required. The price of the translation is usually 30 EUR / standard page.

Specifics for individual documents
Educational Documents
In the case of diplomas, certificates, and other documents regarding education acquired in Canada, a notarized copy is usually apostilled. It is sufficient to deliver the original document to us; we will subsequently arrange for its certified copy by a notary in Canada, followed by the Apostille.
Powers of Attorney from a Notary
The original document itself is apostilled directly. In Canada, it is only possible to apostille documents that are in English or French. If you have a power of attorney or another document in a different language, it must be translated beforehand by an official Canadian translator. We can also arrange translations within Canada.
Why handle the apostille through the Legalization Center
- 11 years of experience with apostilles from almost all over the world.
- The managing director of the legalization center is an attorney licensed by the Slovak and Czech Bar Associations.
- We also provide official translations of documents.
- Foreign documents undergo a free initial review to determine if they can be apostilled at all. If your document cannot be apostilled, we will suggest further options.
